About TFP Designs

Tricia Phelan

Tricia has had a passion for great design and architectural beauty ever since she was very young and it continues today in her business with each client.  Tricia's focus is to guide the client to develop and expand upon their own style.  She believes a home should be a reflection of the homeowner and their family, not a replica of a showroom floor.  Tricia will  work hard to create the character and style your home may be lacking through assistance in paint color selection, furniture selection and placement, textile, art and accessory selections.

Curated decor creates a much more inviting atmosphere than the HGTV mentality of the "instant" room.  Incorporating the client's treasured  items and antiques is paramount to Tricia's design aesthetic.

Service Options

FULL SERVICE:  Re-designing several rooms from top to bottom or just a simple foyer update? Tricia and her team can transform your space.  Anything from bare walls to just an accessory update, no job is too large or too small.  Tricia specializes in staying on budget whatever that budget might be. In this scenario, a room fee is set depending on the scope of the project.

Consultation Basis Only:  If you prefer to DIY, but need a professional to bounce ideas off of, or to collaborate with on your design journey, Tricia is happy to help partner with you in person or consult via email.  Hourly rate applies in this scenario.

E-Design:  If you need help with a room design, don't have the budget for custom furniture and fabrics or one on one support, nor the time to wait for custom orders? Tricia can put together a room design board which will include specific links to major online retailers (Wayfair, Overstock, West Elm, etc).  In this scenario the client gets the best of both worlds:  a creative design, but on the budget and a timeline that can be completely controlled by the client.  A set room fee is applied. Size of room and number of revisions affect the amount. Design fee by room.
